In the process of redesigning our kitchen, one of the fun decisions is the tile we will use for the backsplash. All of the pressure is off, not only is it dictated by the major choices we’ve already made – cabinetry style, countertop material, floors, etc., it is also a relatively small space and therefore will cost much less than, say, that ever so permanent countertop we have to commit to. So it’s really a chance to have some fun and choose what we love.
I’ve come across a few styles I found interesting – not necessarily exactly what we’re looking for yet but food for thought.
